Rachelle Neal
Founder, Owner and Chief Researcher

Rachelle Neal is founder, owner, and chief researcher for Capitol Research Services. She is well respected by clients, peers and business  associates.  She brings a wealth of corporate, nonprofit, and public sector research experience gained through 30 years of industry leadership.  Neal, who earned an MA from Michigan State University, has conducted national seminars for business leaders and research professionals.  Neal was the 2009 Athena Award recipient from the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce.  The Athena Award honors women and men who strive towards the highest level of professional accomplishment, who excel in their chosen field, have devoted time and energy to their community, and who pave paths for other women to follow.  

In 2005, the national Marketing Research Association awarded her the Professional Research Certification of Research Company CEO, expert level. The certification recognizes the unique qualifications and expertise of marketing research professionals. In 1999, The Entrepreneurial Awards of Greater Lansing named her Socially Responsible Entrepreneur of the Year.  In 1996, Neal was named Small Business Person of the Year by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. 

She has served on the Board of Directors for many local organizations, including Rotary Club of Lansing President. She is committed to her community and improving the quality of living for its residents. Her commitment is evident through her leadership in the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Lansing Promise, Capital Region Community Foundation, Rotary Club of Lansing, Capital Area United Way, Sparrow Development, YMCA of Greater Lansing, Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Arts Council of Greater Lansing, Junior Achievement, and the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she has served as the Michigan representative to the Marketing Research Association’s Capitol Network.

 

David H. Souser, II
Project Manager

David H. Souser II, is project manager for Capitol Research Services with 8 years’ industry experience. His experience includes on-site coordinator, phone bank and audio video supervisor, and project manager. He studied Economics at Western Michigan University, where he was a member of the Economic Club, and tutored students in Introductory Macroeconomics. His business mindset and statistical background make him a great addition to the Capitol Research Services team.

Souser is passionate about many things including alpine ski racing. His leadership roles include assistant ski team coach for East Lansing High School, and vice president of the Western Michigan University Ski Team. He's participated in races around the state, and still competes in master's racing. 

 

 

 

 

 

Nick Bruewer
Assistant Project Manager

Nick Bruewer is the Assistant Project Manager for Capitol Research Services. In 2015, Bruewer graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Initially, Nick started at Capitol Research Services as an intern, upon graduation joined Capitol Research Services fulltime.

Bruewer has many passions including sports.  In his free time, Bruewer enjoys watching both Central Michigan University and Michigan State University athletics, in addition to the professional sports teams from the Detroit area.  He is a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and also enjoys watching the Barclays Premier League.
